I've been coding mostly in Java and C++ for the past year now, and with this website I was able to learn more about UI/UX design and frontend using HTML, JS, and CSS. I'm mostly familiar with Swing, SDL2 and ImGui for UI/UX, but creating this responsive website using JS, CSS, and HTML has been an interesting learning curve. My current project that's in the works is a full stack application using Spring Boot and React, with MongoDB as the database to tie it all in, although I can't let it on what it is yet so soon.

ProjectsHopefully this website serves as a testament to the fact that I'm not completely incompetent when it comes to frontend development. Stylistically, I did a pretty good job here and my other projects have some interesting design elements too.
Learning backend is rough, but it's all good once you get a hands on, which I have. Spring boot is easy to set up, and you can get straight to work. I do want to try my hand at more complex backend frameworks like Django and Express though.
The project I'm currently still working on is partly functional but so far very user-friendly. It is going smoothly and for that I'd say I'm quite proficient in both frontend and backend development, aside from my database integration using MongoDB, I have built a REST API in it as well.
